2023 Second Installment Tax Bills Issue on Monday, 6/24/24

The 2023 second installment tax bills are now available on the Cook County Treasurer’s website (www.cookcountytreasurer.com), click on payment details (purple box), type in your property’s Permanent Index Number and then click on the link to the second installment 2023 tax bill.  The tax bills became available on-line on the Treasurer’s website on Monday, June 24, 2024.  Nearly 1.8 million 2023 second installment tax bills will be mailed out in early July with a due date of August 1, 2024.  This year’s taxing cycle has been sped up after the historically late second installment 2021 tax bills were due on December 30, 2022 and second installment 2022 tax bills due on December 1, 2023.

There are several ways to pay your second installment tax bill.  You can pay on-line at www.cookcountytreasurer.com, or by mailing a check to the Cook County Treasurer’s Office, or by paying your tax bill at a local Chase Bank location.
